Bid On Your Competitor’s Brand Names
I know, this may seem a bit odd and ill-practice, but when you think about it, most of the time if they are your competitor you offer the same brands.  Maybe not everything would be the same, but a high percentage.  Make sure you are also utilizing the brand names in long tail keywords, not just the exact phrase.

Use Ad Scheduler To Your Advantage
The time of day and the day of the week are extremely important in managing your marketing campaigns.  If you have a company Facebook page, you can review your insights for initial input in this area.  Test several days and times each month for at least three months to gather your ppc marketing data and then revise your strategy.

Identify Under-Budgeted Campaigns
You want to target exact keywords for your company, but finding those long-tailed keywords that none of your competitors are marketing with will help your efforts as well.  You can use Google’s Keyword Tool to create a report and see what keywords and phrases are low, medium or highly used in your industry.  You can also find out the estimated cost and where your ad will appear based on your monthly budget with this tool.

Offer More Value On Your Landing Pages
When the potential client clicks on your campaign and is re-directed to your website landing page, be sure to provide a call-to-action (cta) to offer something additional in value.  When the user clicked on your ad, they were somewhat interested in what you have to offer for a product or service.  Once they hit your landing page, prove it was worth their time by clicking.  These offers can vary from a simple inclusion to an eNewsletter mailing which offers monthly discounts to those who sign up to even an iPad or company product giveaway.
