12 Mar Why A Company Brand Is So Important
When creating your company brand identity, it is very important to put in the time necessary to make sure you get it right. How your image is seen by consumers when looking to purchase a product or service can either make or break your company’s traditional or digital presence. Here are a few tips to make sure you get it right the first time.
Be sure when you are establishing or re-branding your image you ask yourself the main questions from the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How theory.
WHO: Who do you want to target? Who are your competitors? Who do you fashion your brand similar to large or small?
WHAT: What image do you want to present and what do you want your consumers to get out of their initial look at your brand?
WHEN: When do you want to place your brand in front of your consumers?
WHERE: Where do you want to advertise your brand?
WHY: Why do you want to display a particular color schematic, company name and tagline.
HOW: How are you going to engage your audience?
The process for branding can be long at times, but if you are able to establish an identity initially and not have to change it, you will be able to save yourself a lot of time and headache later. When we were working on our brand we thought about every possible way we could be seen in the public eye and how it would have either a positive or negative effect. The color, font, logo and tagline will all be judged in one way, shape or form by outsiders especially those who are budget conscience and/or have a solid reputation of their own to uphold.
