01 Feb How To Increase Your Online Footprint
How do you increase your online footprint? That’s easy, just spend at least eight hours a day working on your marketing plans, social media campaigns, and website. Sure, you have time for that right? Without the right staff, digital marketing agency, or time management plan, you may lose track of everything you are working on and stay just “busy”. Follow the ideas listed in this article and let me know how we can help you get on track to mastering the web.
Let’s start with your website. For the most part, a website is a given these days even for personal accounts. But, how you are using your website and getting it to where it is up to par with the latest and greatest so you can outrank your competitors is what you have to focus on. Start by testing it out with HubSpot’s Marketing Grader. You can insert your website URL and see where you are achieving success and the areas where you need to improve. Try not to be too hard on yourself, we didn’t score as high as we expected when we input our URL, but we are working to implement and update all the necessary items to get on track.
You will find there are many areas where Social Media is a factor for increasing your website grade. Simply adding this Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, and StumbleUpon plugin increased our score three points. As I mentioned in my previous article, Social Media will play an even larger role in online marketing so do not ignore it.
Then, when you have figured out the most of what you need to be implementing, you have a brain lapse and cannot write blog articles to keep your website active, content relevant, and reach your audience. I have found the WordPress Plugin Ideas to be helpful in collecting thoughts throughout the week and the WordPress Plugin Post Thesaurus great for almost keeping me grammatically correct in my writing style.
If you are still having problems or simply do not have time to work on your website or complete online marketing effort, give me a call or send us a message.
